Wellness Pharmacy is a group of 11 pharmacies that have served the needs of communities in the Lower Mainland for more than 20 years. We have grown from modest operations to one that employs over 150 people and continues to grow steadily. Our success can be attributed to our continued dedication to prioritizing and meeting the needs of our community.

Our goal has always been to go the extra mile for our patients, to deliver care that protects their health and safety, and to complement the treatment they receive from their doctor and others in their healthcare team. We believe everyone deserves access to care, especially marginalized groups as they are the most medically vulnerable. Our greatest assets are our highly educated and experienced pharmacists. Wellness pharmacists are competent, self-motivated and life-long learners. They are trained to conduct comprehensive medication reviews, manage our patients’ medications, and make recommendations for changes as necessary.

In order to provide our services in a safe and effective manner, it is critical to have good communication with patients, family members, and care providers. Our nurses, pharmacy assistants, and pharmacists have extensive experience taking care of patients who require additional attention due to their high risk for medication errors and non-adherence.

They are also well-educated in the management of concerns relating to specific populations such as transplant patients, dialysis patients, patients struggling with mental health and addiction concerns, diabetes, asthma, and high blood pressure. Our pharmacists demonstrate empathy and kindness, know how to improve medication adherence through creative solutions and empower patients to become independent in their own health care.

We speak your language

In addition to their strong communication skills, our pharmacists, nurses, assistants, and technicians are multilingual, thus enabling them to easily converse with our diverse patient population, as well as provide prescription labels in multiple languages. By providing counseling in a patient’s native tongue, we are able to enhance their understanding of their medications, thereby improving compliance.

Languages spoken include: English, Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Farsi, Hindi, Punjabi, and Tagalog.
