Patients over the age of 55 receive a 10% discount on all over-the-counter medications.
We can help patients navigate the sometimes-confusing application process for PharmaCare and its various programs, such as income review and Plan G for mental health. We can also assist patients by completing special authority forms and sending them to the doctor to get certain medications covered. This allows patients access to their optimal medication regimen while reducing their out-of-pocket costs.
One of the most significant barriers to patient counseling and provision of accurate health information is the language barrier. Wellness Pharmacy consists of a multicultural team that reflects the diversity in our community. This not only provides a sense of relief and comfort to the patient as they can converse in their preferred language but also assists in the provision of health information as well. Our staff are able to speak the following languages fluently:
English, Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Farsi, Hindi, Punjabi, and Tagalog.
For languages that we are unable to interpret, we do our best to utilize available resources to help facilitate communication, which may include translation apps or interpreter services.
You can request prescription refills and receive refill reminders by phone or email.
We have an emergency 24/7 telephone support line, which is always answered by a pharmacist or registered nurse able to provide medical expertise and guidance.
